Society of Jesus Mary Joseph - Spirituality
The spirit of the Society of Jesus Mary Joseph is a sharing in the spirit of Jesus Christ who was obedient unto death to His Father. In imitation of Jesus its members should distinguish themselves by perfect obedience.
Jesus had both human and divine nature. Externally he appeared as an ordinary man, but internally he was united with His Father. So also a JMJ Sister must in her exterior be like any other in the community, but interiorly she must remain united to God by prayer and by loving attention to her neighbour for the greatest glory of God.
